Givers staff went over and beyond to process all the paperwork that was required. They also communicated with mom’s case manager and that made the transition a lot easier and it only took about 2 weeks to get everything going. They also communicated App that Givers has is very helpful and I have a coach that’s available 24/7 if I have any questions or concerns. I’m very pleased with their service and the staff.

Givers has been a blessing to me and my family. Julie was super helpful during the entire process and making sure we were taken care of. How does Givers support caregivers and their families?
Givers hires, supports, and pays family caregivers through Medicaid programs.

If you qualify for the program in a state that Givers serves, we help you and your loved one with the administration involved in getting enrolled.

Once you and your loved one are enrolled, you must work with a licensed agency to document your work, get support, and get paid as their caregivers. Givers can serve as your licensed agency to help you easily meet all requirements.

Even if you don't qualify for a program that Givers serves, we still provide education and resources to help you contact the correct agency and find support. Fill out this form to get started.
How quickly can I start receiving services from Givers after applying?
After you pre-qualify through the application form on the Givers site, we send your referral to a state-contracted case management agency that will contact you within ~10 days for a phone screening to begin enrollment.

The next step is an in-home assessment by the same case management agency within ~7 days. After that, your loved one's application is submitted to Medicaid for approval.

Once sent to Medicaid, Givers can start your caregiver onboarding process, which includes a background check and signing your contract. As soon as Medicaid approves your loved one's application, Givers will schedule a nurse visit to begin your service.

The timeline for starting services with Givers can vary depending on individual circumstances and the program for which you are eligible. Our team works diligently to expedite the process and provide support as soon as possible.
How quickly can I start receiving services from Givers after requesting a transfer?
If you decide to transfer to Givers from another agency provider, it will take a few days to process the transfer, but there will be no break in compensation. You continue getting paid through your provider agency right up until you switch, at which point you'll be paid through Givers. You can find more information about transferring providers here.
Can Givers help with the Medicaid waiver application process?
Givers can help with the Medicaid waiver application process to a certain extent. Our strong relationships with case management allow us to stay on top of the process and keep it moving forward. We are also happy to answer any questions and provide guidance to ensure you understand the requirements and procedures involved.
Are there any costs associated with using Givers' services?
No. Givers support is covered by Medicaid, so there are no out-of-pocket costs for using Givers' services.
What is Givers Daily Pay?
Givers Daily Pay allows you to access your earned wages on-demand rather than waiting for payday. You can withdraw your money as soon as you earn it, providing greater financial flexibility and control. This service ensures you can meet your financial needs, making it easier to manage expenses and emergencies. There may be a fee associated with instant transfers.
What is the On-Time Pay Guarantee?

What kind of training and support does Givers provide?
Under the program for which Givers offers agency services, caregivers are required to complete a set amount of training annually to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge. Does Givers offer any additional resources or tools?
Our extensive library of articles and podcasts, covering a wide range of caregiving topics, is available to everyone at any time.
Can Givers assist with emergency situations or provide backup care?
Depending on the program in which you are enrolled, you may be eligible for respite care, and other services. While you are not paid for these days, this service offers relief during emergencies or when you need a break. Givers can contact case management on your behalf to coordinate the respite service.
How do I access the Givers app?
Once you're enrolled, you'll get access to the Givers App. Our app is available for download at the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Take the eligibility assessment now to get started.
